Dr. Phillip McKerrow was an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong. His research goal was to understand how bats and blind people use ultrasonic sensing to navigate. It included developing mobile robot systems to conduct experiments to test theories of how to use echolocation to navigate and to recognize objects. Since he retired, Philip has been writing “The Adventures of Drip and Drop” and the “Jesus Explored” series of bible studies. With his wife Ann he enjoys touring in their caravan and traveling to visit their grand children. When not writing he enjoys woodcarving, photography and fishing.
